Club Rules

Brightlingsea Sailing Club is a membership based club that encourages all of its participants to take part in the life of the club. For some this involves hard work in running various activities within the club, for others it is periodically manning a rescue boat periodically, assisting in the galley or a helping on Cadet Night or at Family Fun/Women On Water events.

To ensure everyone can get the most out of their club, it is organised and managed in a professional manner. In addition to the Club Officers there are 4 main committees that manage the direction and activities within the club:

General Committee overall direction and supervision
Sailing Committee all things racing and sailing
House and Entertainment bar and social
Premises keeping the Club ship-shape
Sailing School - strategy and planning for the Sailing School

From time to time, other groups are pulled together to manage various projects from one-off events to significant club developments. If you would like to be involved, even in a small way email members@sailbrightlingsea.com and you can help/join the enthusiastic team that makes it all possible.

Like all clubs we do have a set of official rules and if you click the icon below you can read them.
